Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") forms part of the Terms of Service and applies to every product we sell. It describes what you may not do with the products, how we review potential violations, how you can report a problem, and what happens when a rule is broken.
1. Prohibited content and uses
The following are prohibited. This list is exhaustive for the categories it names; other categories may be prohibited under the general rule in section 2.
1.1 Sexual content
Pornographic content, sexually explicit material, and any content that is sexually exploitative or NSFW. This includes material produced or altered by generative AI.
1.2 Violence and gore
Content that glorifies, promotes, or realistically depicts extreme violence, gore, or injury to people or animals, and content encouraging or instructing others to commit violence.
1.3 Hate speech
Content attacking, dehumanising, or inciting hostility or violence against people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
1.4 Child safety
Any content that sexualises minors, depicts minors in a sexualised or exploitative way, or otherwise endangers children. This category carries a zero-tolerance policy — see section 5.
1.5 Deepfakes and impersonation
Content that uses generative AI to create a realistic depiction of a real person without that person's authorisation, or that impersonates a real person, organisation, or government body — whether in image, video, audio, or text form. Digital likeness, voice cloning, and face swapping without consent are all covered by this section.
1.6 Infringement of copyright or trademark
Content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights, including unlicensed use of source code, images, fonts, music, trademarks, or brands. This also covers circumventing or redistributing the products themselves in breach of section 4 of the Terms of Service.
2. General prohibited use
In addition to the categories above, you must not:
- use the products in any way that infringes the law of any jurisdiction, or that facilitates illegal activity;
- use the products for fraud, phishing, credential harvesting, malware distribution, or unauthorised access to systems;
- resell, sublicense, or redistribute the source code, or publish it in a public repository, code-sharing site, or public gist;
- remove or obscure copyright, licence, or attribution notices in the source code;
- use the products to build a competing product offered for sale;
- misrepresent your association with us, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests endorsement;
- scrape, overload, or otherwise interfere with this website or the demonstration service, including by sending automated requests at a rate that degrades them for others;
- reverse engineer the demonstration service for the purpose of probing or attacking it.
3. How we review and enforce
We review content and use of the products on three levels:
- At the point of use — if you submit a report under section 4, we triage it and determine severity.
- Proactively — we may review the products themselves and the material published with them. Our products are development tools and generate no content on their own; where a product includes optional integrations with generative AI, those integrations are documented, and the responsibility for output content rests with the operator running them.
- On notice from a third party — rights holders, platforms, and payment processors may report content or conduct to us, and we act on those reports under the same process.
We use a graduated response, applying the least severe action that resolves the issue:
- Warning — a written notice explaining the rule that was broken and what to change. Where the violation is remediable and minor, this resolves the matter with no further action.
- Restriction — suspension of specific features, removal of specific content, or suspension of access for a defined period.
- Termination — termination of the license under section 8 of the Terms of Service, cancellation of any outstanding refund request, and where appropriate, referral to the relevant payment processor or authorities.
Severity is assessed by the nature of the content, whether it is intentional, the scale of distribution, and whether the person has previously been warned. A deliberate, repeated, or large-scale breach of section 1.4 (child safety) is treated as severe on the first instance.
We keep a record of reports received, the assessment made, and the action taken, for as long as is necessary to enforce this policy and to meet our legal obligations.
4. Reporting a violation or a concern
If you believe content we distribute, or use of our products, breaches this policy, or if you are the subject of a report we have received, contact us:
kyungbin@163.com
Subject line: Content Report
Please include, where applicable:
- the URL of the page or the name of the product in question;
- a screenshot or other evidence;
- your account or order identifier;
- the nature of your concern.
We acknowledge every report, usually within 3 business days. We aim to complete an initial assessment within 7 business days, and we will tell you the outcome where we can do so without prejudicing anyone else's rights. If a matter is not a policy violation, we will say so and explain why where we are able.
We do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who makes a good-faith report. We will not disclose the identity of a reporter to the reported party except where required by law or where the reporter has consented.
5. Zero-tolerance categories
Section 1.4 (child safety) is a zero-tolerance category. There is no warning stage: we terminate the license immediately on a confirmed violation, cancel any outstanding refund, and refer the matter to the appropriate payment processor and, where a child is involved, to the relevant authorities.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The version applying to you is the version in effect on the date you made your purchase, shown at the top of this page. Continuing to use the products after a change means the updated version applies from that point.
