Privacy Policy
1. Summary
We sell downloadable source code. We do not run an application, we do not have user accounts, and we do not track what you do after you download a file. We collect the minimum needed to take a payment, deliver a file, and handle a refund or support request.
2. Who is responsible for your data
The Seller is an individual operating under the laws of the People's Republic of China ("Song Xiaoshi", "we"). Our contact address is kyungbin@163.com.
Payment processing is performed by a third-party payment platform acting as Merchant of Record ("the Processor"). The Processor collects your payment details, acts as the legal seller on the transaction, issues your invoice, and collects and remits applicable sales tax, VAT or GST. Your order confirmation names the Processor. The Processor processes your payment data under its own privacy policy; we receive a limited subset of it (typically your name, billing address, email address, and order details) so we can deliver the product and handle support.
3. What we collect
Information you give us
- Order information — the email address on your order, the product purchased, the amount, the order identifier, and your billing address as provided to the Processor.
- Support correspondence — if you contact us, the content of your message and your email address, so we can respond and keep a record of the resolution.
- Refund details — if you request a refund, the order identifier and the reason you give, so we can assess and process it.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent and referrer, retained for security and abuse prevention.
- Cookies — this website sets no advertising or analytics cookies. A single functional cookie may be set if required by the payment flow.
What we do NOT collect
- No payment card numbers — those are handled entirely by the Processor.
- No behavioural profiling, advertising ID, or cross-site tracking.
- No telemetry from the code you download. The products we sell contain no analytics, no phone-home and no usage reporting.
4. Why we collect it, and on what basis
- To perform the contract (take payment, deliver the file, issue the receipt) — for order information.
- To comply with legal obligations (tax and accounting record-keeping) — for order and billing records.
- For our legitimate interests (responding to you, securing the site, preventing fraud and abuse) — for support correspondence and server logs. We balance this against your rights and keep the data only as long as needed.
5. Third-party processors
We rely on the following categories of service providers, each of which processes data only to the extent needed to provide its service to us:
- Payment processing / Merchant of Record — the Processor named on your order confirmation handles payment details, invoicing, tax calculation and collection, and chargeback handling.
- Email delivery — order confirmations and support replies are sent through an email delivery provider acting on our instructions.
- Web hosting and CDN — the hosting provider serves this site and its static assets, and records server logs.
- Cloud hosting for the demonstration service — one of the products we sell includes an optional demo deployment hosted on Cloudflare Workers with a Cloudflare D1 database. Requests you send to that demo endpoint are processed by Cloudflare. It is a demonstration service and is not required for the product to function.
6. Cross-border processing
Our Processor, our email provider and our hosting provider operate outside the People's Republic of China, in the United States and other jurisdictions. Consequently, personal data you provide may be processed outside China in those jurisdictions when you make a purchase, receive a confirmation email, or load this site.
Where data is transferred outside China, we rely on the standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards provided by those processors, and we limit what we transfer to what is necessary for the purposes described in section 4.
7. Retention
- Order and billing records — retained for the period required by tax and accounting law (typically 5–10 years, depending on the jurisdiction), because we are required to keep them.
- Server logs — retained for up to 90 days, then deleted, unless a specific entry is needed as evidence for a security incident or legal claim.
- Support correspondence — retained for up to 24 months after the last exchange, so we have the context if you come back to us about the same order.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- request access to the personal data we hold about you, and a copy of it;
- ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete data we hold, where we are not required to keep it (for example, order records we are legally required to retain);
- object to, or ask us to restrict, processing based on our legitimate interests;
- receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format;
- withdraw consent where we rely on it (our lawful basis is primarily contract performance and legitimate interests, so this applies only where we asked for consent).
To exercise any of these rights, email kyungbin@163.com with your order identifier. We will respond within 30 days. For payment data held by the Processor, we will direct your request to them and support you in making it.
9. Security
Payment data never reaches our systems — it is entered directly into the Processor's checkout and is never transmitted to or stored by us. For the data we do hold, we use access controls limited to what is needed to run the business, and we treat order records as confidential.
10. Children
These products are intended for adults and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The version applying to you is the version in effect on the date you made your purchase, shown at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced here with a new effective date and version number.
